Self Closing Gate Hinge Installation Instructions

Self Closing Gate Hinge
The picture above is our Self-Closing Stainless Steel Gate Hinge. The right side of the hinge is spring loaded and is attached to the post. The left side of the gate hinge is attached to the gate. The ideal spacing between the post and the gate is 1 to 2 inches.


Parts for the Self Clsoing Steel Gate Hinge
Enclosed in each set of hinges you should have two hinges, screws, one adjusting pin (show above - approximately 4 inches long), and two locking pins.


Spring Loaded Self Closing Gate Hinge
Once your gate hinges are installed, you can adjust the spring loaded gate hinges. Insert the 4 inch adjusting pin into one of the holes and turn to the desired amount of tension. Insert the locking pin into one of the holes.
