Please read instructions thoroughly before beginning the deck and porch gate installation.
During installation, place PVC components on a non-abrasive surface to avoid
scratching (drop cloth or cardboard).
Assemble PVC components without using excessive force to avoid damage.
Make sure all PVC components are included.
Our deck and railing gates are one of the best systems on the market. The
gate kit is one of the easiest to install and very few tools are required.
Our gate corners ensure a square gate and will help eliminate gate warping
or sagging in the future.
Gate Kit Includes:
4 Gate Corners
1 Pack of Screws
Balusters
Top
and Bottom Rails (holes for balusters)
Side Rails (no holes)

Bag of screws to secure gate corners to rails. There will be extra screws -
it never hurts to have a few extra for replacements or just incase you loose
a few.

Gate corner. The red circle above shows the cutout for the balusters. Make
sure these are inserted into the top and bottom rails. This allows the
baluster to be inserted into the rail and down into the gate corner.

1. Insert the four gate corners into the top and bottom rails. The top and
bottom rails are the exact same and will have holes for the balusters.
2. Insert the two side rails into the gate corners that are attached to the
bottom rail.
3. Insert balusters into the bottom rail.
4. Insert top rail gate corners into the side rails. The gate should be
fully assembled and the only parts left should be the screws.

The screws are self-drilling and are easy to install. Do not over tighten
screws!! It is best if a drill is used to install the screws. Right before
the screws are tight back off with the drill and finish with a screw driver.
This will prevent the screws from stripping. The screw location is shown
above in the red circle. The red arrow above illustrates where the the rails
and corner brackets meet. The screw location should be installed
approximately one inch from where the rail and bracket meet on the rail
side. This will allow the screw to go through the rail and the bracket to
provide a secure installation. Once screws are installed you can install
screw caps.
Gate Hardware: If possible it is best to install the gate hardware on the
rails so the screws are installed through the rail and gate corner. This
provides a secure and stronger installation.
