The Feather Lock slat is a double wall self top locking decorative fence slat for existing chain link fence. No bottom locking runner is required. The top portion of the slat is wider to secure the slat into the fence. Available for a 2″ or 2-1/4″ (2-3/8″) diamond chain link fence. The Feather Lock slat is a great way to make your chain link fence more private at a reasonable cost.

Specifications: the Feather Lock slat is manufactured 1-1/2″ shorter than the overall height of the fence (e.g. 6 ft is 70.5″ long).
Feather Lock slat for 2 inch diamond: the wind load and privacy factor for a 2 inch diamond is approximately 85%. The body of the slat is approximately 1-1/4″” wide. This fence slat is made for a 2″” diamond and 9 or 11 gauge wire. Each bag contains 82 pieces. For a 2 inch diamond, each bag will cover approximately 10 linear feet of fence (depends on how tight your fence is stretched – the average chain link fence with a 2 inch diamond has 41 diamonds for every 10 linear feet of fence).
Feather Lock slat for 2-1/4 inch diamond: the wind load and privacy factor for a 2-1/4 inch diamond is approximately 85%. The body of the slat is approximately 1-5/16″” wide. This fence slat is made for a 2-1/4″” diamond and 11 or 11-1/2 gauge wire. Each bag contains 78 pieces. For a 2-1/4 inch diamond, each bag will cover approximately 10 linear feet of fence (depends on how tight your fence is stretched – the average chain link fence with a 2-1/4 inch diamond has 38 to 39 diamonds for every 10 linear feet of fence). Feather Lock fence slats for a 2-1/4 inch diamond chain link fence is only available in 4′, 5′ and 6′ heights.

Our slats made of virgin High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) are made in the USA and have UV inhibitors (UV resistant color concentrates) to add color protection and guard against cracking, chalking, and fading in the sunlight.
